What is RAK? RAK stands for Random Acts of Kindness.
Each November, The Whittaker Family Foundation proudly hosts its annual Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) Month, also known as the TWFF RAK-a-thon. This cherished initiative began a few years ago as an overflow of our mission to give back and make a positive impact. Every day during November, we commit to at least one meaningful act of kindness, ranging from small, thoughtful gestures to larger contributions that uplift and support our community. These RAKs are our way of showing that doing good can be simple, heartfelt, and impactful—and we encourage everyone to join us in spreading kindness.
We believe that the power of kindness is multiplied when shared, so we invite the community to participate alongside us. By taking part in daily acts of generosity and posting their experiences, people can inspire others to spread kindness even further. Whether it's sharing the joy of giving on social media or sharing the stories of how their recipients responded, these moments remind us all of the profound effect kindness has on everyone involved. For those who want to support in other ways, donations to our RAK-a-thon help us expand our reach, allowing us to touch more lives. Together, let’s make this November a time of exponential goodness and gratitude, one act of kindness at a time.
